Florida - Florida College System

The Florida College System is the primary access point to higher education for Floridians, including recent high school graduates and returning adult students. The mission of the Florida College System is to provide access to high-quality, affordable academic and career education programs that maximize student learning and success, develop a globally competitive workforce, and respond rapidly to diverse state and community needs.

All students seeking financial aid should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). The form is used to determine eligibility for most forms of federal, state, and local aid. Students should contact their college’s financial aid office to determine that the FAFSA form has been received and what other aid they may be eligible to obtain. The Florida Department of Education Office of Student Financial Assistance can also assist students in attaining information and applying for state financial aid. Students should visit https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/ to learn about federal financial aid programs.
