Award Type -

This is a scholarship for veterinary students. We hope to raise awareness of animal cruelty and help future veterinary professionals reach their goals.
Focus -
pre-veterinary studies, veterinary studies, animal science, or any
other similar major.
Qualifications -
* Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in an accredited pre-veterinary
or animal sciences undergraduate program in the United States
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Proven history of advocacy for animals
* Demonstrated community involvement
* Demonstrated financial need
All applications will be reviewed by our EFA Scholarship Award committee
members, who will score each submission and essay on a scale of 1 to 20
based on merit and need factors. The highest scored submission will receive
the EFA Scholarship Award of $500.

The scholarship will be awarded once a year and will remain active for that entire year. This scholarship will be awarded annually.

Along with all the information listed above, please submit a 1-2 page essay
that explains the following:
* Why youve chosen to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, animal
research or your related area
* What your specific community involvements are or have been with
advocating animal empathy and fighting animal cruelty
* How you intend to use this award
