The Nebraska Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education provides students and parents easy access to critical information about enrolling and succeeding in the Montana University System. State Grants

• ‍Nebraska Opportunity Grant (formerly Nebraska State Grant) is available to students who meet the minimum EFC as determined by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Community College Gap Assistance Program provides financial aid to community college students enrolled in credit or non-credit programs that are not eligible for Pell grants that could lead to jobs in high-need fields.

State Scholarship Opportunities

• Access College Early Scholarship pays tuition and mandatory fees for qualified, low-income high school students to enroll in college courses from Nebraska colleges or universities through dual-enrollment or early enrollment agreements with these institutions.

Colleges provide institutional grants and scholarships to help make up the difference between college costs and what a family can be expected to contribute through income, savings, loans, and student earnings.
