Purpose
To support and encourage more diverse candidates to enter the practice of law and to diversify and enrich both the firm and profession.

Law.
Qualifications -
Applicant must be a member of a diverse group (for example, African American, Native American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic, Latino, LGTBQ, Middle Eastern, or other minority group); must reside in Massachusetts or Rhode Island; must be an outstanding second-year law school student enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and seek to practice law in Massachusetts or Rhode Island upon graduation; must demonstrate strong academic achievement, commitment to the community, and financial need, and have a vision of contributions to the law profession and the community after graduation.
Criteria
Selection is based on: demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the legal profession; academic and leadership achievements; obstacles, challenges, or other factors encountered in advancing career objectives; life experiences that have shaped values and professional goals; long-term interest in practicing law in one of Sponsor's offices; and interview with the Diversity Committee.
