Purpose
To assist students undergraduate studies leading to careers in student activities or a related student services field.
Focus -
Education, Secondary; Educational administration.
Qualifications -
Applicants must be matriculated undergraduates in good standing at the time of their application and during the semester in which the award is received; have a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; have demonstrated significant leadership skills and ability; have made significant contributions via volunteer involvement, either on or off campus; be enrolled in a college or university within the NACA Northern Plains region; must be U.S. citizens.
Criteria
Recipients are selected based on the undergraduate record of academic achievement; involvement in and contributions to NACA Northern Plains by a student from a Wisconsin or Upper Peninsula of Michigan school; potential for success in the field of campus activities. All scholarship recipients will be selected by an anonymous Scholarship Committee appointed by the Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Applicants must complete the online application and submit with the following: two letters of recommendation from administrators or faculty members who are well acquainted with the applicant as a student leader (should specify the applicant’s leadership positions, responsibilities, skills and ability, training and accomplishments); resume or description of the applicant’s leadership activities, skills and ability, training and accomplishments; official verification of the applicant’s current enrollment status from the college/university registrar. All materials must be submitted online; only the first 75 qualified applications will be considered.
