2002 Ag Day Essay Contest

The Agriculture Council of America is sponsoring an Essay Contest. This year’s theme is “American Agriculture: Growing a Climate for Tomorrow?”. The National Ag Day’s objective is to celebrate agriculture and help consumers better understand how farmers and companies produce abundant, healthy, nutritious, and safe food while caring and tending for the land.

Applicants must be in 9th to 12th grade during the current school year and be a U.S. citizen. For more details on the contest, please see the website list below.

Awards

  • National Video Essay Winner – $1,000
  • National Written Essay Winner – $1,000 and the opportunity to read their winning essay virtually.
  • Winning entries will be featured on the Ag Day Blog and Web Site.

In February, first-place award winners of the written essay and video essay will be contacted via email.
