Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation partnerships with CBC spouses to award scholarships to African American students pursuing a degree in the performing arts receive financial assistance. Performing arts includes theater, drama, comedy, music, dance, opera, and marching bands.

Eligibility

• African American and Black graduating high school seniors
• Students who are pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees in a variety of fields

Awards

• Performing Arts - 10 applicants to receive an award of $5,000
• Visual Arts: - 10 applicants to receive an award of $5,000
